drag car

The Godspeed Budget drag car is 100% funded by the club at the moment the concept was birthed out of a school asked a member of the club (wayne) if i would like to sell/give a car to the school as a car the students could fix up and learn how to do things, repairs, panels etc on with that wayne said yes, but that night in a dream the holy spirit showed up so what he saw was the car as a tool could be used to inspire the students even troubled teens at the local school.

Begining

Above is what we started with...

future vision

PLEASE NOTE: ABOVE PIC IS A MOCK UP (PHOTOCHOP) OF WHAT WE WOULD LIKE

" The dream or vision as president for this part of the club is to be a competitive car the drag car was started to help involve school kids and troubled teens by getting hands on with a vision and to also to advertise and create an awareness for a charity project called "She Rescue Homes" which supports and cares for young girls who are at risk of or who have been rescued from being trafficked into prostitution specifically in Cambodia. also looking when the budget is their for 7-8sec quarter mile"

The bottom picture is a mock up of where we want to take it eventually as a club

The Drag Car concept
The club would take the car to a test and tune and see what time it would do then bring it back give it to the class and see what they can do to improve it, we as a club would give as much help to help students to learn. then put it on a trailer take it out and see if the class had better the first time. Also the students could learn mechanical knowledge, metal work, auto electrical, welding etc all the things that came with building a basic drag car. We have asked the school and still in waiting to what they want to do.... So we continued on the build as a club cause it is a club car and project,
